Description

360° tilt sensor
The combination of angle and distance measurements allows you to determine distances where conventional methods fail. The horizontal distance, for example, can also be determined quickly and efficiently past obstacles or the elevation of a tree, even though there is no reflective point.

Digital Pointfinder

Bluetooth®

The range and accuracy of laser distance meters depend on light conditions and reflectivity of the measuring target. For Leica Geosystems it is important that the instruments not only perform under perfect laboratory conditions, but above all under the kind of everyday working conditions encountered on construction sites. This is why, working together with external experts, the company have developed a standard by which laser distance meters can be tested and compared with each other.

If you take a measurement at an inclination of ± 45°, the Leica DISTO™ D3a always calculates the shortest distance. So you can measure quickly and easily, even over the top of objects and people.

Multiple functions
The Leica DISTO™ D3a can calculate rectangular and triangular areas, volumes, room dimensions and various types of Pythagoras functions.
